Overon operates several MCPC platforms on the Hispasat satellite system - mainly for DTH or full-time distribution service - with Europe to Europe coverage, which offer a cost-effective and highly reliable alternative to your distribution and contribution requirements

Housed at both our mainland teleports in Madrid, these MCPC platforms also have capacity available for occasional use services.  Scalable bit rates between 1 and 7 Mbps are available for occasional use and can be booked on an ad hoc basis and at moment’s notice with our Bookings Department in Madrid.With 100% penetration of the homes that receive cable television, the Hispasat satellite system has a neighbourhood of more than 3 million TV households in Spain.

The service includes terrestrial connectivity from a Madrid point-of-origin, uplink and satellite space segment.  Additional turnaround service to Asia, Africa and/or America is available at an additional cost.

The service may also be accessed from other domestic or foreign cities by way of our terrestrial network, an international fibre network or a turnaround at a corresponding teleport.

Because of the satellite’s excellent European coverage, the signal can be downlinked directly by the end-user using compatible MPEG-2 IRDs and TVROs.
